What to Do if a Purchase Was Made on the Wrong Account

Steps to take if Podcrash content was purchased on an unintended Microsoft/Xbox account.

Because Microsoft handles Marketplace purchases, Podcrash cannot move or merge purchases between accounts.

Your Options

  1. Use the same account on your device
    Log into the Microsoft account that purchased the content — it will sync automatically.

  2. Request a refund from Microsoft
    If the wrong account was used accidentally, request a refund via Microsoft Support:
    https://support.microsoft.com

  3. Re-purchase on the intended account
    This may be required if the refund isn’t approved.

Notes

Purchases cannot be transferred between:

  • Parent and child accounts

  • Multiple Xbox profiles

  • PlayStation/Switch profiles

  • Different Microsoft accounts

This is a Marketplace-wide restriction.
